Ik probeer al geruime tijd vanaf de live-disc van Moblin 2.0 en 2.1( op
USB-stick) Moblin te installeren op een tweede USB-stick van 8GB om te
kunnen booten vanaf deze stick om i.p.v. XP met Moblin te werken op mijn
netbook (Samsung N110) zonder de installatie van XP aan te hoeven passen.
Ik installeer alles op stick, dus ook de loader.

I found "xampp" for linux and "xampp lite" for windows.
But would like to have xamp lite for linux to put on an usb-stick.

The point is that they tell you what laptop CAN work with
Linux. If you just have to have their tweaks, you can
buy it from them, otherwise, you can buy it for less and
do the install and config yourself.

Does anyone know of a tablet PC that runs Linux? I can give up some
fancy functionality (like handwriting recognition) so long as all the
normal stuff runs in Linux. Bigger screens are a bonus. like a
Fujitsu T1010.

please excuse me if the issue has already been discussed here, I made a lot of searching to no avail...
I have installed Ubuntu-eee 8.04 on a 8GB pendrive. Almost everything is working fine, bur I have a major problem. After pressing the suspend button (Fn-F1) or closing the lid, if I try to resume the power led comes steady but nothing else happens. I am forced to force power down and restart.

I'm looking for an image or package that I can put on an USB stick, that
contains Apache, MySQL and PHP for Linux.
I would like to be able to put the stick in any Linux PC and be able to
start the webserver there.
This so I do not need to install this on every PC.
Can anyone help me with this?
