I hope someone can help.  For the last couple of weeks, the checkboxes on my
computer have been messed up.  Instead of a white box that you put a little
checkmark in, they look like teeny tiny pictures that change color when they are
checked OR they are a capital "J" that is black when checked and grey when
unchecked.  Also, the minimize, maximize and close buttons have "0", "1" and "R"
on them instead of the little line, the boxes and the "X".  Fonts on different
parts of my machine are HUGE and bold (in Search, for example).  The fonts under
the icons on the desktop were like that but I changed them.  I cannot figure out
how to fix the other problems.  I have tried everything I can think of and have
been asking around to all my computer savvy friends - no one has heard of
anything like this.  I ran a virus scan - nothing.  Any help would be VERY much
appreciated.  It is extremely hard to tell if the boxes have checkmarks in them
or not.  Thanks.
